Fair
We headed to the fair this week with Chris' family. We ate some bad food, people watched and saw the animals. Noah enjoyed the people watching, but was terrified of the animals! Maybe next year, he'll enjoy it more!
Yo Gabba Gabba
We spent my birthday last week at the Yo Gabba Gabba concert! Noah loved it...until the show started. Then, he was terrified! We figured out that he just didn't like it when everyone cheered which happened a lot! He spent most of the concert standing on the side with one of us or out in the hallway. We all enjoyed it though! It was the "real" DJ Lance so we were excited about that and Biz from Biz's beat came too! Don't you love our DJ Lance glasses? It was funny to see so many other Yo Gabba Gabba fans!

Missing in Action
Over the weekend, I left Noah alone in the kitchen for a minute to go brush my teeth. This is what I found when I came back about 2 minutes later!

Happy Halloween!
Our Halloween fun started last weekend. I had to dress up for the Ghostwalk, so I decided to be Snow White.
We had Character Day at school last week. The other speech therapist (Dana) and I decided to do something together. We were Old McDonald and the cow. Yes, I actually wore a cow costume to school. I can't tell you the number of times I was pulled on that day! It was fun. Character Day was always my dad's favorite day at school and he always dressed up in crazy costumes so I hope he was able to enjoy my cow outfit!
As for Halloween, Noah enjoyed watching the children trick-or-treat, ride in the wagon and throw candy.
He did not enjoy his costume!
Oh well, there's always next year!
Enjoy the video below of Noah throwing candy.

Little Gym
This weekend we went to a birthday party at the Little Gym for my cousin's daughters. Noah LOVED it! He had a great time. I think we will have to head back there soon.

Crazy Love
Chris and I just started a new Bible Study at church called "Crazy Love". It has been great! I highly recommend picking up the book to read. Each week we read a chapter, watch a short video and have a discussion. I can't tell you the number of times something in the book or the video has hit me right in the face. It's one of those books that while you are reading you feel like it speaking directly to you. It is very thought provoking.
Here is a video where the author describes the book:

Thanks!
This week I saw just how blessed I am. This week was very hard, much harder than I imagined. But, there were many of you who made it easier for me. I got wonderful emails, messages, text messages, cards and gifts from family and dear friends. I can never explain how much your words, thoughts and gestures meant to me. I wanted to share a poem that my friend, Sarah, shared with me. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there,
I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight
On the ripened grain.
I am the gentle Autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there.
I did not die.
My Spirit is still alive…
I am not there,
I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight
On the ripened grain.
I am the gentle Autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there.
I did not die.
My Spirit is still alive…
