Read, Read, Read

Noah LOVES to read!  It is so cute.  He reads at home, in the car, and in the stroller.  Sometimes we have to "hide" books because we're read them too many times that day.  I guess coming from a family of educators it's no wonder.  I even posted a video below of him "reading" to himself.  My dad would be so proud!

Noah and Sully

Sarah took some pictures of our boys last week to try out a new camera lens she got. They turned out so cute!  Noah hated the chair so that's why he's crying.  Sully was trying hard to make  him feel better with kisses!

Noah turned 15 months old last week!  We can hardly believe it.  He had his 15 month appointment today.

Here are his stats:

Height: 31 inches (50th percentile)
Weight: 21lbs 7oz (15th percentile)
Head Circumference: 47.3 (75th percentile)

All pictures are by Sarah Rogers.  Check out her new website here:  Sully and Me

Baptism

This weekend Noah was baptized at our church.  What a blessed day!  We were so lucky that many family members and friends were able to share the day with us.  There were many friends and family that I didn't get a picture with because they had to leave early.

Noah was also blessed with some pretty amazing Godparents.  We picked Uncle Andrew, Aunt Jenna and Aunt Brianne to be Noah's Godparents.

Noah absolutely loved being the center of attention and could not keep his hands out of the water.  Speaking of the water, he was baptized with water from the Jordan River which was pretty special.

After the baptism we had a brunch at my mom's house and everyone enjoyed watching Noah with his walker.

Our little family is very blessed by such amazing families and such special friends.  Noah is one loved little boy!

Grandma

1 year ago this week, we lost my Grandma.  It is so hard to believe that it's been a year.  My memories with her are something I will cherish forever.  I'm so glad that she was able to meet Noah. It makes me sad when I think of how much she would enjoy him today and how he would make her laugh.  She was a very special lady and she will always be close to my heart.   We love and miss you Grandma!

Almost a Walker?

Today Noah has been practicing his "walking" skills by pushing his walker around.  He really enjoyed it!  If anyone would have been at our house today, they would have thought Chris and I were crazy.  We were dancing and singing following behind Noah cheering him on as he walked. We were amazed how he knew how to handle turns to easily. I did get 2 videos of him and Chris got one on his phone with the walker that you can see below.  Yes, we uploaded 3 videos!  I'm thinking it won't be long until he's walking all by himself.  He's such a big boy!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day!

I am so blessed with a wonderful mom!

I also have a wonderful mother-in-law!

They are both so important to me and I enjoy having them in my life so much.
And of course, I love being a Mommy to my little man!

Being a mom is the best job I've ever had! Happy Mother's Day to all the moms!  I hope you have a wonderful family filled day!

"The moment a child is born, the mother is also born.  She never existed before.  The woman existed, but the mother, never.  A mother is something absolutely new."

Here is a cute video of Noah laughing with his Uncle Andrew.  Andrew and Jenna were here for the week and Noah loved spending time with them!

Busy Boy

Noah can make a mess pretty quickly around here!  My mom calls him the "one man wrecking crew" and that is a pretty good description.

Earlier this week, I folded all of the laundry nicely and he came along and threw it all back in the basket!

Then, he decided to re-arrange my jewelry box.

He keeps us busy!

Weekend Update

We had a fun weekend!  On Saturday, Noah and I went on a lunch date with my mom, Robin, Ellen and Lucy (aka Noah's girlfriend).

On Sunday, we went to my mom's house to work on the pool.

Noah helped by sweeping the deck.

Then, he mowed the grass on the tractor.

Such a big helper!

Chris was the first one in the pool this year, but Noah was the first skinny dipper!

He was rewarded with his hard work by having 2 helpings of Mac and Cheese!  You can tell that he enjoyed it!

We're excited that summer is here and can't wait to spend lots of time in the water!
